Doreen Westera

Doreen Westera recently retired from Memorial University School of Nursing in St John's NL Canada. She had been a nurse educator for over 30 years, teaching courses focused on community health nursing, counseling, and spirituality. She maintained a part-time clinical practice for most of her nursing career. She currently conducts workshops on spirituality nationally. She has developed 13 videos for use in nursing education and practice, focusing on spirituality in various clinical contexts and featuring clients/families, nurses, and other health care professionals.
