Heidi Merriman, BSN, CCRN-E is Avel eCare’s Critical Care Nurse Manager. Heidi has more than 18 years’ of experience as a nurse and started her career at Avel eCare in 2017. She graduated from SDSU with a BSN in 2005, where she gained a variety of experiences from working in Orthopedics, Neurology, Outpatient Procedures, and Cardiac floors. Throughout her 18 years, she has been caring for patients on Medical and Surgical ICU’s and has held leadership positions as a Unit Supervisor and now Nurse Manager in ICU. Her passion is advocating for excellent patient care and supporting clinicians as they strive to do the same.
